About Financially Cleared
There's an old story about a fisherman who docks his small boat in a quiet village. The day's catch is enough. He heads home early.
A visiting businessman asks why he doesn't stay out longer. "Because I have what I need," the fisherman says.
The businessman lays out a plan. Work harder. Scale up. Build a fleet. Sell the business. Make millions. The fisherman listens patiently and asks one question. "And then?"
"Then you can retire," the businessman says. "Live somewhere quiet. Sleep in. Fish a little. Spend time with your family." The fisherman pauses. "That sounds familiar."
Clarity in the Chaos
The hardest financial question is rarely how to make more. For many physicians, earning more isn't the problem. The harder question is knowing what you're trying to build. Money is useful. Clarity is rarer. That's why I created Financially Cleared.
Physicians spend years learning how to diagnose disease, manage uncertainty, and make difficult decisions under pressure. Very little time is spent on the financial decisions that follow.
Financial decisions are rarely random. The best outcomes come from a small number of principles applied consistently over time. The goal isn't to predict markets. It's to help physicians build wealth with intention.
